Rachel is a member of theLegislative Assembly of AlbertaforEdmonton-Strathcona, and leader of theAlberta New Democratic Party. She was a lawyer before entering politics,focusingon labour law, with a specialty in workers' compensation advocacy and workplace health and safety issues.
