A. Smith\, extended to the framework of Floer homology. We describe such inequalities in the setting of persistence modules obtained from Floer homology\, and their re cent applications to questions in Hamiltonian dynamics. In particular\, we show that for a class of symplectic manifolds including complex projectiv e spaces\, a Hamiltonian diffeomorphism with more fixed points\, counted s uitably\, than the dimension of the ambient homology\, must have an infini te number of simple periodic points. This is a higher-dimensional homologi cal generalization of a celebrated result of Franks from 1992\, as conject ured by Hofer and Zehnder in 1994. Time permitting\, we may discuss furthe r\, very recent\, related results\n DTSTART:20200228T183000Z DTEND:20200228T193000Z LOCATION:Room PK-5115 \, CA\, Pavillon President-Kennedy SUMMARY:Egor Shelukhin (Universite de Montreal) URL:/mathstat/channels/event/egor-shelukhin-universite -de-montreal-320742 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
