We establish a new aspect of this theory: for random matrices sampled from the classical groups U(n)\, O(n)\, or Sp(n). The group structure of these matrices allows us to go further and find surprising algebraic quantities hidden in the values of these integrals. The talk will be aimed at a wide audience\, and all notions will be explained. Based on joint work with Mi chael Magee (Durham).\n DTSTART:20190306T200000Z DTEND:20190306T210000Z LOCATION:Room 920\, Burnside Hall\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0B9\, 805 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:Doron Puder\, Tel Aviv University URL:/mathstat/channels/event/doron-puder-tel-aviv-univ ersity-295070 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
