Vitamin B6 (VB6) has been shown to act as an antioxidant and play a role in stress responses. Using genome walking\, t he de novo biosynthetic pathway genes\; RsolPDX1 and RsolPDX2 and the salv age biosynthetic pathway gene\, RsolPLR were sequenced and were found to b e differentially regulated when subjected to reactive oxygen species (ROS) inducers. Evidence on the functionality of R. solani vitamin B6 biosynthe tic pathway genes\; RsolPDX1 and RsolPDX2 was done using the yeast express ion system. This study is the first coexpression analysis of genes encodin g vitamin B6\, CAT and GST in plant and fungal tissues of three pathosyste ms during interaction of different AG groups of R. solani with their respe ctive hosts.\n\nEveryone in the 91ºÚÁÏÍø community is welcome to attend a Ph D Oral Defence. Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our P hD candidates.\n DTSTART:20190905T171500Z DTEND:20190905T171500Z LOCATION:MS2-084\, Macdonald-Stewart Building\, CA\, QC\, St Anne de Bellev ue\, H9X 3V9\, 21111 Lakeshore Road SUMMARY:PhD Oral Defence: The role of vitamin B6 as an antioxidant during t he abiotic and biotic interactions of the fungal pathogen Rhizoctonia sola ni URL:/macdonald/channels/event/phd-oral-defence-role-vi tamin-b6-antioxidant-during-abiotic-and-biotic-interactions-fungal-pathoge n-299754 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
