One way to understand communities is to summarize their most important characteristics using consistent mea sures. Community structure is a set of measures of composition\, abundance \, distribution\, and interaction that describe an ecological community ov er space and time. Trophic structure is an important aspect of community s tructure\, and relates to energy and nutrient flow\, especially the distri bution of organisms across trophic levels. The objective of this thesis is to investigate determinants of trophic and community structure\, includin g latitude\, ecosystem type\, biome transition\, community composition\, a nd body size.\n\nEveryone in the 91ºÚÁÏÍø community is welcome to attend a P hD oral defence. Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our PhD candidates.\n DTSTART:20181205T141500Z DTEND:20181205T141500Z LOCATION:R3-038\, Raymond Building\, CA\, QC\, St Anne de Bellevue\, H9X 3V 9\, 21111 Lakeshore Road SUMMARY:PhD Oral Defence: Determinants of trophic structure in ecological c ommunities URL:/macdonald/channels/event/phd-oral-defence-determi nants-trophic-structure-ecological-communities-290211 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
