 followed by postdoctoral fellowships at Vanderbilt University School of Me
 dicine’s Centre in Molecular Toxicology and the Departments of Internal Me
 dicine and Physiology at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Cockell is curren
 tly Division Chief in the Nutrition Research Division\, Bureau of Nutritio
 nal Sciences\, Food Directorate\, Health Products and Food Branch at Healt
 h Canada. He also holds Adjunct Professor appointments in 91ºÚÁÏÍø Universit
 y’s School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition and the Department of Biochemi
 stry\, Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Cockel
 l’s primary scientific and research interests include the roles of mineral
  nutrients in health and disease\, metabolic interactions involving minera
 l nutrients\, and nutrient risk assessment.\n
