Commuting to, from or through the Macdonald Campus? What you need to know.
The Quebec Ministry of Transport will commence major repairs to the campus Highway 20 overpass (Pont Poultry Cottages) as of November 4, 2016. Phase 1 of the project is expected to last until the end of the year and Phase 2 will take place in the spring.听
This weekend 鈥� November 4, 5 and 6
Repair work听under听the campus Highway 20 overpass will begin Friday evening, and as a result, there will be closures on Highway 20 over the weekend.
Monday, November 7th until end of project
Overpass traffic:
-听will be reduced to one lane
- will be restricted to motor vehicles only. 听Pedestrians and cyclists are prohibited from crossing the structure.
- will be one-way southbound only from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.听from Monday to Friday.听Exceptions: emergency services, bus services, and campus maintenance vehicles.
Northbound local traffic听will be detoured through municipal roads to Highways 20 and 40 between the hours of 7h30-9h30, Monday to Friday.
