She has written widely on wo rkers’ experiences in manufacturing\, industrial craft and the creative in dustries\, including two monographs: Industrial Craft in Australia (2021) and Hot Metal (2016). In 2025 she co-edited two collections on labour\, sk ill and climate change\, following her 2023 international symposium 'All H ands on Deck.' A former ARC DECRA Fellow\, Dr. Adams Stein is a Senior Lec turer in Design at UTS.
