While he is most widely recognized within the academic and legal circles for his contributions in the fields of private law\, compara tive law\, jurilinguistics and judicial methodology\, Professor Devinat wi ll discuss of his most recent field of research\, statutory interpretation . Professor Devinat will discuss Pierre-AndrĂ© CĂ´té’s InterprĂ©tation des lo is\, and its previous editions\, in order to highlight the evolution of th e relationship between the author and judges and their discourses on statu tory interpretation throughout the years.\n\nA reception will follow.
