 and theoretical nature about how to proceed. Professor Mark Walters invite
 s you to a presentation by three people who have thought deeply about thes
 e issues.\n\nMarc Kruse (J.D. U of Manitoba) is a Winnipeg lawyer and a me
 mber of Muscowpetung First Nation in Saskatchewan. He teaches courses on I
 ndigenous Peoples and the Law at the University of Winnipeg and his resear
 ch interests include the relationship between philosophical ethics\, polit
 ical philosophy\, and law.\n\nNicolas Tanchuk is a PhD candidate in the Ph
 ilosophy and Education program at Columbia University. Nick’s dissertation
  defends an egalitarian account of social justice grounded in the value of
  learning. Nick is the co-founder of a Summer Indigenous Math Leadership p
 rogram at the University of Winnipeg and has over a decade of experience w
 orking on grassroots social justice projects in a variety of roles.\n\nPro
 fessor Kevin McDonough teaches in the Department of Integrated Studies in 
 Education\, 91ºÚÁÏÍø. He writes about issues of diversity and edu
 cation from a philosophical perspective\, in particular on questions about
  educational policy that arise in relation to democratic citizenship\, cos
 mopolitanism\, cultural identity\, nationalism\, sexuality\, cognitive dis
