 iddiqi (LSE—BSc Sociology 1998\; Cambridge—BA Law & MA 2000)\, on “Pakista
 n and Islamist Militancy: A Lawyer’s View”.\n\nMr. Siddiqi is currently an
  O’Brien Fellow in Residence at the Centre for Human Rights and Legal Plur
 alism at the 91������ Faculty of Law.\n\nIn Fall 2015\, he was a fellow at t
 he LSE Centre for the Study of Human Rights. Mr. Siddiqi is a former advis
 or to the Attorney General for Pakistan (2013-2014) and was actively invol
 ved in the movement to restore judges unconstitutionally suspended and rem
 oved by the former military government (2007-2009).\n\nAside from a genera
 l commercial practice\, notably in the areas of contract\, pharmaceutical 
 regulation\, and tax\, Mr. Siddiqi litigates pro bono cases involving issu
 es of labour rights\, sexual assault\, and environmental rights.\n\nThis e
 vent is organized in collaboration with the Canadian Friends of London Sch
 ool of Economics\, Montreal Committee.\n
