 n has published two books\, Failing to Protect: The UN and Politicisation 
 of Human Rights (Hurst\; OUP\, 2014) and The United Nations Human Rights C
 ouncil: A Critique and Early Assessment (Routledge\, 2013) as well as nume
 rous academic and media articles. She works closely with the UN and with s
 tate governments\, and sits on the advisory boards of international NGOs.
