By doing so\, the talk will also touch on how legal categories promo te/allow inclusion\, exclusion and vulnerability around different axis\, s uch as migratory status\, gender\, socio-economic condition\, and disabili ty\, and the ways in which the law may (or not) work in favour of the effe ctive realization of human rights\, equality and social justice.\n\nLa con férencière\n\n[En anglais seulement] Dorothy Estrada-Tanck is Assistant Pr ofessor (tenure-track) of International Law and International Relations at the University of Murcia\, Spain\, and co-Director of the Legal Clinic of its Faculty of Law. She holds a PhD in Law from the European University I nstitute\, an MSc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science\, and a law degree (Mexico City). She enjoys broad a cademic and professional experience in the United Nations\, State bodies a nd NGOs in Mexico\, Italy\, the US and Spain\, focusing on issues of human rights\, migration\, gender\, and socio-economic justice.
