He is currently a Professor of Law at University of São Paulo Law Schoo l and a Professor of Law at the Institut de Sciences Politiques (Sciences – Po)\, Paris\, as the Gide Loyrette Nouel Chair of Law and Development.\n \nHis areas of specialty are antitrust law\, economic law\, and legal theo ry. He is especially interested in the historical evolution of economic po wer structures and their impact on the  legal and economic realm\, as well as in the formulation of a comprehensive theory to understand and discipl ine these phenomena.
