He has acted in international arbitration s governed by a variety of procedural rules\, including the arbitration ru les of the ICC\, LCIA\, UNCITRAL\, and DIAC.\n\nPrior to joining BLG\, Hug h practiced for five years in London and the Middle East in the internatio nal arbitration group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and was Assist ant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague\, whe re he assisted arbitral tribunals in international investment arbitrations .
