In 1930\, assis ted by a scholarship from the Women’s Canadian Club of Montreal\, she rece ived an M.A. in History for her ground-breaking study of James 91ºÚÁÏÍø.\n\n For many years she taught at a local private school\, Miss Edgar’s and Mis s Cramp’s\, eventually becoming its Head Mistress. A long-time member of t he James 91ºÚÁÏÍø Society\, attending its functions and asking pertinent que stions well into her nineties\, Miss MacSporran was awarded an Honorary Li fe Membership in 1993.
