Professor Desmond Morton, Hiram Mills Emeritus Professor

91ºÚÁÏÍø was an enthusiastic participant in World War I. 3,000 91ºÚÁÏÍø men saw active service, with over 10% being killed. No. 3 Canadian General Hospital (91ºÚÁÏÍø) was renowned.  91ºÚÁÏÍø researchers also contributed to the war effort.

Professor Desmond Morton, Hiram Mills Emeritus Professor and first Director of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Institute for the Study of Canada is a noted military historian.
