Understand the systemic barriers and opportunities that impact di verse communities and how to advocate for equitable solutions. · Leadershi p and Organizational Management: Delve into essential skills for effective leadership in the public sector.   Speaker Bio: Elizabeth works in the fi eld of international development on projects that address human rights\, g ender\, governance. She currently runs Gender LEAD\, USAID's flagship gend er equality program that works to strengthen and substantially expand supp ort for integrating gender into USAID's work around the world. In this rol e\, she works with USAID missions around the world to develop strategies a nd action plans to advance gender equality via long-term development strat egies. This work builds on a 10-year career working throughout East\, West \, and Southern Africa\, and held a long-term leadership position in Sri L anka during the COVID-19 pandemic\, working to strengthen core justice ins titutions\, processes\, and actors responsible for the administration of j ustice. She has also performed research in the fields of social policy and human rights\, working with the Africa Center on Economic Transformation to analyze care economies\, and with the African American Redress Network to advance policy research on reparations in the United States.
