DESCRIPTION:Whether you're starting your teaching journey or creating a tea
 ching portfolio\, designing a course that promotes learning and higher-lev
 el thinking is an essential skill. This workshop\, in partnership with the
  Office of Science Education (OSE)\, introduces graduate students to cours
 e design that is centered around student learning. Participants will learn
  to identify these elements\, define alignment\, create a course descripti
