 n this webinar\, participants will learn about terminology related to equi
 ty-centered education. They will then use that knowledge\, as well as thei
 r previous experiences\, to discuss how they can help create inclusive vir
 tual communities.Learning Objectives: At the end of this workshop\, partic
 ipants will be able to:- Identify terminology related to anti-oppression a
 nd inclusivity.- Reflect on how systems of oppression appear in everyday l
 ife.- Describe how systems of oppression manifest in a virtual context. IM

 ility: Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) and Our Shared Spaces (OSS) ar
 e committed to providing educational content that is accessible to as many
  audiences as possible\, regardless of ability. In the COVID-19 context\, 
 our workshops are provided via Zoom with automatic transcription enabled. 
 Our PowerPoints go through an accessibility-checker\, and if instructions 
 are provided\, they are given verbally and via written text. We provide co
 ntent warnings throughout the workshop as needed. As a participant\, you w
 ill have ample opportunity for varied engagement\, some examples are via t
 he Zoom chat function\, breakout rooms\, listening\, and verbally in the l
 arger group. There are no scheduled breaks but we encourage participants t
