 R CREDITS*This workshop will expose participants to terminology connected 
 to race and anti-racism. Learners will be asked to reflect upon how racism
  affects the daily lives of everyone within its reach. Examining 91ºÚÁÏÍø’s 
 policies\, learners will understand some of the ways in which the institut
 ion calls its community to build inclusive spaces. The workshop advances t
 he concept of 'effective' allyship and gives space for participants to adv
 ocate for anti-racism and care on campus.IMPORTANT: Students must register

 workshop\, participants will be able to:- Define racism\, anti-racism\, an
 d related terminology- Reflect on racism and campus life- Explore actions 
 they can take to undermine racismAccessibility: Teaching and Learning Serv
 ices (TLS) and Our Shared Spaces (OSS) are committed to providing educatio
 nal content that is accessible to as many audiences as possible\, regardle
 ss of ability. In the COVID-19 context\, our workshops are provided via Zo
 om with automatic transcription enabled. Our PowerPoints go through an acc
 essibility checker\, and if instructions are provided\, they are given ver
 bally and via written text. We provide content warnings throughout the wor
 kshop as needed. As a participant\, you will have ample opportunity for va
 ried engagement\, some examples are via the Zoom chat function\, breakout 
 rooms\, listening\, and verbally in the larger group. There are no schedul
 ed breaks but we encourage participants to take them as needed.If you have
