Together these skills combine to increase the comprehension\, credibility\, and connection needed to maximize your i mpact when presenting.  Whether prepping for a 5-10 minute class presentat ion or even a 30-minute talk\, you are sure to come away with some helpful tips that can increase your impact.  As a bonus\, there will be a 15-minu te open Q&A at the end for people to ask questions of our Presentation Ski lls Training Manager\, Andrew Churchill\, who will be leading the session.   The first workshop covers both Basic Set-up Strategies as well as Conten t and Trajectory Development. You will learn set-up strategies such as lig hting\, camera\, and body position as well as how a framework to interroga te audience and purpose can be used to refine content that is accessible\, interesting\, and strategic. An exercise in developing an effective hook will be shared.The second workshop covers Body Language\, Voice & The focu s with all 3 is on understanding how to develop an engaging presence Exerc ises will focus on helping you overcome public speaking nerves as you lear n to appear confident and credible. Visual development will focus on how t o effectively supplement your talk without interfering with people’s exper ience of listening to you. Sample slides for a variety of different presen tation types (research\, business pitches\, content summaries\, etc.) will be shared as well as specific strategies to adapt slides to an online env ironment. REGISTER HERE>> Each workshop is designed to take 45 minutes\, f ollowed by a 15-minute question and answer session.
