DESCRIPTION:Presenting online is a 2 part Workshop Series designed to help 
 graduate students increase the impact of their presentations\, particularl
 y in online environments. The 2x60 minute workshops are deigned to cover t
 he basics of everything from optimizing set-up and transforming visuals to
  honing content\, developing effective engagement strategies and increasin
 g the effectiveness of your voice and body language. Issues specific to bo
 th short (less than 8 minute) and long (longer than 20 minute) formats wil
 l be addressed. Each workshop will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A where pa
 rticipants are encouraged to ask specific questions about their research a

 participants who attend both sessions in full.  BIO: Dr. Andrew Churchill 
 obtained his doctorate in education from 91ºÚÁÏÍø in 2011 after r
 eceiving his M.B.A. from the University of New Hampshire in 2002. For the 
 last 10 years he has been working with both academics and business profess
 ionals in classes\, seminars\, professional workshops\, and through indepe
 ndent contract work to help them hone their communication skills. His pres
 entation coaching work focuses on refining content\, voice\, body language
  and visuals in order to increase engagement and comprehension. His worksh
 ops consistently receive excellent reviews from participants\, and his exc
 ellence in teaching has earned him recognition with a Distinguished Teachi
 ng Award from 91ºÚÁÏÍø.
