DESCRIPTION:The Office for Sexual Violence Response Support and Education (
 OSVRSE) is organizing support sessions for BIPOC (Black and Indigenous Peo
 ple/Person of Color) students. Jada Joseph\, our social work intern will b
 e facilitating four sessions over the winter term. The objective of these 
 sessions is to provide a space for BIPOC students to unpack the intersecti
 ons of race and sexual violence as well as other marginalized identities t
 hrough an anti-oppressive\, intersectional\, and empowerment lens. Snacks 
 will be provided at every session.Sessions take place from 5:00 to 7:00 pm
 .How to participate:Participation in every session is optional. This group
  is open to all 91ºÚÁÏÍø students who identify as a Black\, Indigenous and/o

  social work intern and will be facilitating the supportive discussion gro
 up for BIPOC students in the Winter semester. Jada has a bachelor’s degree
  in psychology and child-studies. She has been a peer supporter supporting
  2SLGBTQIA+ folxs and survivors for over 4 years.Accessibility: The buildi
 ng is wheelchair accessible via the main entrance on Sherbrooke. Wheelchai
 r accessible washrooms can be found on the main floor but not on the 5th f
 loor.The washrooms on the 5th floor are accessible by a small set of stair
 s and are not gender neutral. We strive to create accessible and inclusive
