 e! We will teach you how to cast on\, how to do the basic knit stitch\, an
 d depending on the progress of the group\, how to cast off and purl. This 
 workshop is free and materials are provided\, but if you would like to bri
 ng home the materials with you (ie a pair of knitting needles and a ball o
 f yarn) to keep practicing\, we ask that you pay 5$ so that we can keep bu
 ying materials for future workshops. You do not have to decide this in adv
 ance\, you can decide on the spot if you want to take the materials home w
 ith you! There is no need to sign up for this workshop\, but we have a lim
 ited quantity of materials and teaching capacity. If you arrive late and t
 here are no more materials available\, there is unfortunately nothing we c
 an do in that case. There will be other workshops for beginners in the fut
 ure\, so if you can't make it to this one\, don't worry!
