DESCRIPTION:Apprendre à se connaître est un atelier de deux heures et demie
 \, en deux parties*\, qui a pour objectif d’aider les étudiant.e.s non fra
 ncophones à identifier leurs forces et valoriser leurs expériences de béné
 volat\, d’implication universitaire et de travail afin de réussir dans leu
 rs démarches professionnelles. Au cours de l’atelier (partie 1)\, les part
 icipant.e.s identifieront leurs traits de personnalité et leurs champs d’i
 ntérêt puis établiront leur profil de compétences et aptitudes. Ensuite (p
 artie 2)\, les participant.e.s visionneront des présentations-clairs pour 
 structurer leur propre présentation-éclair et l’éprouver dans un environne
 ment convivial. A la fin de cet atelier\, les participant.e.s seront prêt.
 e.s à se présenter en français avec professionnalisme lors des activités d
 e réseautage et de l’entrevue d’emploi.*Remarque : La première partie est 
 le 24 septembre de 16h à 17h30 (une heure et demie)\; la seconde est le 26
  septembre de 16h30 à 17h30 (une heure).Inscription____________“Get to kno
 w yourself” is a 2.5 hour workshop in two parts* designed to help non-fran
 cophone students to identify their strengths and validate their academic/v
 olunteer/work experiences in order to more effectively communicate their e
 ndeavors to potential employers. During this workshop (part 1)\, participa
 nts will identify their personality traits and areas of interests\, and th
 en establish their profile of skills and natural talents.Then\, in worksho
 p part 2\, participants will have the opportunity to view and discuss the 
 structure of a successful “elevator pitch”\, and will be able to practice 
 their own pitch in a friendly and encouraging environment. At the end of t
 his workshop\, the participants will be ready to present themselves profes
 sionally in French in the context of networking activities and job intervi
 ews.* Note: The first part is September 24 from 4:00 - 5:30 PM (1.5 hours)
  and the second part is September 26 from 4:30 - 5:30 (1 hour).Register he
