  at 91ºÚÁÏÍø early 2018. She is now the Insight’s Data Science Program Direc
 tor in Toronto. She will give a presentation and Q&A on careers in data sc
 ience.Scientists and engineers from diverse fields\, including physics\, a
 stronomy\, computational biology\, neuroscience\, math\, statistics\, and 
 computer science\, are playing key roles in transforming the way companies
  and public institutions work with data to impact our daily lives. This ev
 ent will provide a high-level overview of data science in the technology i
 ndustry and describe the Insight Fellows Program. The session will include
  time for Q&A\, as well as advice for those interested in transitioning to
  careers in data science and artificial intelligence.About Insight:The Ins
 ight Data Science Fellows Program is an intensive\, seven week postdoctora
 l training fellowship that bridges the gap between academic research and a
  career in data science.Based in 5 cities in the US (San-Francisco\, New-Y
 ork\, Boston\, Seattle\, Los Angeles) and now in Toronto\, the program ena
 bles scientists to learn the industry-specific skills through a project-ba
 sed\, industry-driven learning approach designed to train academics in man
