She was then thrilled to return to 91ºÚÁÏÍø as an employee\, originally con tracted as Zero Waste Coordinator but eventually obtaining a permanent pos ition as Supervisor: Sustainability\, Contracts and Special Projects with the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Buildings and Grounds Department. Today she is working on imple menting many exciting projects on campus (including expanding composting a nd upgrading 91ºÚÁÏ꿉۪s waste bins and signage)\, improving the contents of operational contracts\, and ensuring that contractors comply Camille Ouell et Dallaire\, M.Sc\, 2012\; Ph.D Geography\, 2018Policy AnalystGeological Survey of Canada\, Natural Resources CanadaCamille is a doctoral candidate that survived the last nine years in Burnside Hall. She studied geography throughout her post-secondary education\, from CEGEP in Trois-Rivières\, to a Bachelor’s degree at Université Laval\, to a Master’s degree and PhD at 91ºÚÁÏÍø under the supervision of Bernhard Lehner. Her PhD wor k aims to provide new tools and data for the sustainable management of riv er systems at large scales\, with work on the global and Canadian scale\, and a study of the Greater Mekong region. Her weapons of choice are geogra phic information systems\, spatial statistics and scientific outreach. She is the mom of a nine month old baby girl and is looking forward to starti ng her new job as policy analyst in Ottawa in April. Maya Hassa\, Bachelor of Ag. Env. Sc. Renewable Resource Management\, 2018Associate\, Inerjys V enturesMaya has over 2 years of extensive lab and field work experience re searching biogeochemical processes in the context of renewable resource ma nagement. She worked as an International Project director for a student-ru n\, community-based development organization at 91ºÚÁÏÍø\, where she managed a venture investment initiative and consequently developed and led a team of interns in completing a sustainable development project wit h an NGO in the Peruvian Amazon. She currently works as an Associate at a clean technology-focused venture capital firm in Montreal and a candidate for the CFA program. Leandra Langlois\, Bachelor of Bioresource Engineerin g\, 2014Environmental Emergencies OfficerEnvironment and Climate Change Ca nadaLeandra is a Bioresource Engineering and Management graduate from McGi ll University. Upon graduation\, she started full time with Environment an d Climate Change Canada’s National Environmental Emergencies Centre. Over the past 4 years\, she has developed a vast skill set that includes expert ise in environmental and socioeconomic resources at risk to various types of environmental emergencies\, GIS and geospatial data\, project managemen t and spill response operations. Maintaining a can-do attitude and fosteri ng innovative problem solving are two of her core professional values.
