  Northwester University Press. What should a prospective author expect whe
 n working with an acquisitions editor? What kinds of career paths in acade
 mic publishing are possible for graduate students in the arts and humaniti
 es? This workshop is intended for graduate students\, postdoctoral fellows
 \, and early career researches who are interested in the worlds of publish
 ing in and beyond academia.Faith Wilson Stein began her career in publishi
 ng with positions at Slavic Review and Stanford University Press. As Senio
 r Editor and Acquisitions Managing at Northwestern University Press\, she 
 oversees projects from across the humanities\, including work in literary 
 studies\, theater and performance studies\, and critical ethnic studies\, 
 as well as select translations and crossover titles. Faith Wilson Stein ho
 lds a PhD in Comparative Literature with a focus in English\, Russian\, an
 d French from the University of Illinois\, Urbana-Champaign.Date: March 21
