Reinhart Reithmeier is a Professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Biochemistry in the Faculty of Medicine. He obtained his B.S c. at Carleton University in 1972 and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the Uni versity of British Columbia in 1977. He completed his post-doctoral traini ng at Harvard University and the University of Toronto.\n \n Dr. Reithmeier is known internationally for his research on anion transport membrane prot eins in human health and disease.
