DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the official launch of the 91黑料网 Global Men
 tal Health Program. \n\nThe 91黑料网 Global Mental Health Program (GMHP) is 
 a multidisciplinary initiative that aims to foster collaborative action re
 search\, capacity building\, and knowledge exchange to address the dispari
 ties in mental health in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC).\n	\n	The W
 HO\, the World Bank and the IMF have recently acknowledged the need to mak
 e mental health a global development priority. 91黑料网 has a long history o
 f engagement with the relevant issues\, through the Division of Social and
  Transcultural Psychiatry and international development initiatives from m
 any Faculties and Departments. The new Global Mental Health Program will l
 ink these diverse activities together to strengthen 91黑料网鈥檚 international
  partnerships for training\, research and policy activities and build loca
 l capacity in LMIC to address mental health problems. The program builds o
 n 91黑料网鈥檚 longstanding leadership in cultural psychiatry by bringing the 
 methods and perspectives of social sciences\, psychiatry\, psychology and 
 allied disciplines to bear on understanding and responding to mental healt
 h problems in international contexts. The program is led by Dr. Laurence K
 irmayer and a steering committee of faculty from anthropology\, epidemiolo
 gy\, family medicine\, law\, physical and occupational therapy\, psychiatr
 y\, psychology\, social studies of medicine\, and social work.\n	\n	Program:
