Biography: 

Dr. Véronique Morin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Global and Public Health and serves as a Medical Advisor with both the Montreal Regional Department of Public Health and the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services. Trained first as a family physician at the Université de Montréal, Dr. Morin went on to earn a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas. She later completed a second residency in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at 91ºÚÁÏÍø. Her career has taken her from Nunavik’s northern communities to the University of Texas Medical Branch, as well as diverse clinical settings in Montreal. Today, she works at the intersection of immunization, vaccine-preventable diseases, and the empowerment of the Inuit health workforce—combining scientific expertise with a deep commitment to community health.
