Invigorated by these histo ries\, this paper centers the “uncomfortable spaces” of the U.S. South. Dr awing on the embodiments and experiences of Southern Black women\, I delib erate on how feminist geographies bolsters our understanding of the spatia l logics manifested by histories of colonization\, displacement\, oppressi on\, and anti-Black racism.
