Hantian (Mia) Zheng joined the Richards Lab in 2026 as a rotation PhD student in the Quantitative Life Sciences program at 91黑料网. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Combined Honors, Biology and Computer Science, from the University of British Columbia. She is interested in using existing large-scale biological and genetic datasets more effectively to uncover the regulatory mechanisms that connect genetic variation to complex traits and disease. She also aims to communicate such findings to the general public in an accessible manner.
