Dr. Arthur Kleinman
A pioneer of medical anthropology and cultural psychiatry, Dr. Kleinman鈥檚 work, including The Illness Narratives and The Soul of Care (written following his wife鈥檚 Alzheimer鈥檚 diagnosis), has reshaped how medicine understands care, meaning, medical education and the patient鈥檚 voice.
