Family Medicine Academic Day is an initiative of the Department of Family Medicine, bringing together residents, graduate students, and clinicians to showcase high-quality scholarship. Held annually, the event highlights a diverse range of work from innovative research to impactful quality improvement projects, all rooted in the real-world practice of primary care.

Plenary: Addressing Persistent Physical Symptoms

1.ÌýRecogniseÌýthe challenge posed by persistent physical symptoms to conventional models of disease and illness.

2.ÌýReview the emerging science of persistent symptoms.

3.ÌýIdentifyÌýways in which communication about persistent symptoms influences patients’ experiencesÌý
