Teaching Shared Decision Making (SDM) to residents involves introducing key concepts and curricular approaches, applying assessment tools to evaluate competence through observation and peer discussion, and developing strategies to integrate and sustain these tools in clinical teaching. This workshop will help physician educators improve their teaching of SDM as well as improve how they evaluate resident competence for SDM.

This event is organized by the Department of Family Medicine's Faculty Development team and has been certified for 3 Mainpro+® credits as part of their annual series.
