Guylène Thériault Named Family Physician of the Year by the CQMF

The Department of Family Medicine is proud to congratulate Guylène Thériault, MD, PhD, Faculty Lecturer at Campus Outaouais, on being named Family Physician of the Year by the Collège québécois des médecins de famille (CQMF). This prestigious award recognizes family physicians whose exemplary patient care and significant contributions to the health and well-being of their communities embody the highest ideals of the profession.

Dr. Thériault is widely recognized for her leadership in evidence-based medicine, an area in which she holds a postgraduate diploma from the University of Oxford. A strong advocate for scientific rigor, she promotes shared decision-making and places patients at the centre of care.

Her commitment to improving healthcare extends well beyond clinical practice. Dr. Thériault serves as Vice-President of and Co-Lead for Primary Care with . As a member of the , she has demonstrated outstanding leadership and resilience in advancing high-quality, evidence-informed care.
