Construction start date: April 28, 2025
Planned construction end date: End of May 2025
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Scope of work:
- Replace ceiling tiles
- Repair floors/walls
- Installation of new lab bench
- Installation of new sink
- Installation of a hydrogen probe
Impact & mitigation (if applicable):
- Freight elevator use by contractors has been constrained before 8:00am daily.
- No significant impact on users.
- Expect low to medium levels of noise.
- Service shutdowns:
- Some work may require service shutdowns (e.g., electrical, plumbing). Building users will be informed in advance of these closures.
Safety considerations:
- Removal of ceiling tiles and furniture, repairs to walls and floors planned in lab 615 expected to be completed by end of May 2025.
- All applicable safety measures for work involving these materials will be put in place and monitored by an external industrial hygiene consultant.
These include dust-containment methods such as setting up enclosures to isolate the work areas, where required, or using specialized vacuuming equipment.
