He has pioneered two award-winning dialogic research methodologi es\, playbuilding and duoethnography. He is also currently working/playing in performative inquiry projects that involve video dissemination of perf ormances through web links. Joe believes that conversation is a natural wa y of both conducting research and teaching. Coupling this with arts-based methodologies\, where knowledge is generated through the interplay of word \, number\, image\, gesture and sound\, he has developed processes in whic h people can return to their ‘five-year-old selves’ to interactively make meaning through play. This talk will gently scaffold participation\, ‘invi ting’ those assembled to mutually [sic] think seriously.\n\nPresented by M cGill DISE Research: Talks\n DTSTART:20200325T180000Z DTEND:20200325T193000Z LOCATION:Room 233\, Education Building\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 1Y2\, 370 0 rue McTavish SUMMARY:Releasing the Imagination: Play as Serious Thinking URL:/education/channels/event/releasing-imagination-pl ay-serious-thinking-320985 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
