Call for Applications: International Partnerships Program

D2R | DNA to RNA is launching the International Partnerships Program (IPP) to strengthen large-scale, multi-institutional collaborations with leading global organizations. This strategic funding program supports partnerships that align with D2R’s mission, offer complementary expertise, and provide enriched, multidisciplinary training environments. The program will prioritize initiatives with strong institutional commitment, alignment with D2R’s research priorities, and potential for high global impact.

Applicant Eligibility:

This competition is open to:

  • Principal Investigator (PI): Must be a 91ºÚÁÏÍø faculty member (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). The PI leads the initiative and coordinates the project.

  • °ä´Ç-±õ²Ô±¹±ð²õ³Ù¾±²µ²¹³Ù´Ç°ù²õ:ÌýCan be 91ºÚÁÏÍø faculty or approved faculty from D2R partner institutions (McMaster, UBC, Ottawa, Sherbrooke, IRCM). They actively contribute to project design and execution.

  • Collaborators: Include individuals from academia, industry, government, or community. They do not receive direct D2R funding but provide expertise, resources, or access relevant to the project.

  • International Partner Organizations:ÌýEligible partners include academic, government, industry, associations, or non-profits outside Canada. Please check the full list of requirements on the funding program webpage.

How to apply:

Letters of Intent (LOIs) must be submitted via an online form. LOIs are accepted at any time and may be reviewed in batches.Ìý
The application package will be made available to researchers who are invited to submit a full application.

Funding and duration:Ìý

The maximum amount is up to $200,000 annually for up to three years, for a maximum of $600,000 per award.
