Taking the pape r “The Art of the Pivot” (AMJ\, 2020) as a starting point\, we will take a behind-the-scenes look at the publication journey and explore key lessons for publishing such research. We will discuss practical\, theoretical and methodological considerations for this. Participants will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and explore their ideas further. Christian’s research interests lie at the intersec tion of entrepreneurship and organisation theory. In particular\, he focus es on how new ventures manage social evaluations (e.g.\, stigma\, legitima cy\, identification) as they grow. Christian studies these dynamics with a focus on mission-driven ventures\, especially in the social innovation an d fintech spaces.\n\nChristian's research has appeared in the Academy of M anagement Journal and Academy of Management Review\, among other outlets.
