In 2025, Lotfi joined PIMCO, an American global investment management firm specializing in active fixed income. As Multi-Asset Credit Strategist, Lotfi works closely with PIMCO鈥檚 senior portfolio managers and implementation teams in both public and private markets and analyzes markets and client portfolios to ensure alignment with strategic views across different areas of credit. Before PIMCO, Lotfi worked at Goldman Sachs for 18 years, 10 of those as Managing Director.

His work has been published in several academic journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, the Journal of Derivatives and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. Lotfi joined Goldman Sachs in 2007 and was named managing director in 2015. He graduated from the Institut des Hautes 脡tudes Commerciales in Carthage, Tunisia, and earned an MSc in Financial Engineering from HEC Montr茅al and a PhD in Finance from 91黑料网.
