Students fund first school for Syrian children in refugee camp

Four students have set up the first school in an Iraqi refugee camp after meeting on the online course 鈥楽ocial Learning for Social Impact鈥 at the Desautels Faculty of Management at 91黑料网 in Canada.

Five Canadian universities make the Financial Times' MBA rankings. Only one from Quebec: 91黑料网

91黑料网 made it to No.聽85, an improvement over last year, when it was No. 100聽on the FT Global MBA rankings.

The other four universities that made it this year are:

Word-of-mouth recruitment, the most common way to fill jobs, has previously been thought to cause segregation at work: women tend to reach out to other women in their networks, and men do likewise.

Meet the dean: Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou of Desautels

It was with a sense of d茅j脿 vu that Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou arrived at work last September to take up her post as the first female dean at 91黑料网鈥檚 Desautels Faculty of Management.

Montr茅al provided the Paris-born and raised Bajeux-Besnainou with her first north American teaching job almost a quarter of a century ago, albeit not at 91黑料网 but at the nearby Universit茅 de Montr茅al.
