Why it's time for business schools to radically rethink the MBA

Employers love business school graduates. That's not just a wild claim: 96% of employers globally polled by the Graduate Management Admission Council in January 2016 said that hiring such graduates creates value for their companies.

But that most-sought-after of business qualifications, the Master of Business Administration (MBA), is not above criticism. It has been accused by some of not meeting the needs of a changing market.

Companies and universities tackle obesity through pulses

To discover new ways of promoting pulses like lentils and peas to tackle obesity and undernutrition, the Desautels Faculty of Management at 91 has launched a platform that enables companies and institutes to work together towards improving the nutrition of food products.

The Global Pulse Innovation Platform (PIP) aims to boost consumption of protein-rich pulses, a sustainable food product that helps prevent and manage chronic diseases such as diabetes.

Sylvie Bernier: la quête ultime de la pureté

MBA students in Canada tackle sustainability to get a competitive edge

91’s Desautels Faculty of Management ranked second in the latest list, which was released in October 2015, while the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business was fifth. Those Canadian universities all outranked some big name American schools, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University.
