Six incoming freshmen to 91黑料网 have been pegged to share $30,000 and are among the 35 recipients of recruitment bursaries totalling $165,000, announced last week by the Quebec Foundation for Athletic Excellence. The amount includes five awards of $3,000 apiece, distributed to Canadians from outside Quebec who have chosen to pursue their educational and athletic careers in a Quebec university.

MBA News: Rising tuition, rising demand
In 2010,聽91黑料网鈥檚 Desautels Faculty of Management聽did something extraordinary. It more than tripled the cost to attend its MBA program. The idea behind it was to make the program more self-sufficient and to rely less on money from the government of the province of Quebec.聽This year, the Montreal-based school will see a record number of applications, up 15% from last year.
HEC Paris dean Peter Todd on his plans for the business school
When聽Peter Todd聽accepted the role of dean at聽HEC Paris, he was aware that he would have a difficult and unusual act to follow.
The 57-year-old Canadian, the first non-French head at HEC, took over in September last year from Bernard Ramanantsoa, who had ample time to shape a powerful legacy at the business school. Prof Ramanantsoa had been in the job for 20 years before retiring last summer, a lengthy tenure even for a business school dean.
