Supremex announces addition of Desautels alumnus as CFO

Packaging specialist Supremex has announced the addition of Bertrand Jolicoeur to the executive team as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Jolicoeur comes off a stint as CFO and VP of rendering company Sanimax, and before that, he worked at Unican Security Systems and St Laurent Paperboard. He has also been the Corporate Controller at ABB and at Astral Media, though he got his start as an auditor at KPMG. Mr.

Desautels alumnus featured in new sports series鈥 debut episode

Montreal-based YouTube mega-channel Watchmojo recently launched a hockey web show through its new Watchmojo Studios division. The Lineup is part panel show and part gameshow, pitting teams of personalities against each other in a hockey-trivia battle, with each episode following a specific theme. From class project to the Grit Prize: one Dobson Cup team鈥檚 journey

CardioLink was the winner of this year鈥檚 Dobson Cup Grit Prize, which honours 鈥渙utstanding dedication towards establishing [a] business venture.鈥 The multidisciplinary team鈥檚 members are pulled from 91黑料网, Concordia University and the 脡cole de technologie sup茅rieure (脡TS). The CardioLink team is working towards a new, affordable method for replacing heart valves, which also happens to be safer for the patient and less frustrating for surgeons.

Dobson Cup winners announced

From 136 initial pitches, 121 went on to compete. The semi-finals brought the field down to 40 finalists and now, the 2017 91黑料网 Dobson Cup powered by National Bank has revealed the slate of winners. Up for grabs was a total of $106,000, which was awarded to the top teams in the categories of Social Enterprise, Health Sciences, Small & Medium Enterprise, and Innovation Driven Enterprise. This year鈥檚 slate of entries came from all of 91黑料网鈥檚 faculties and schools.

Diversity is big on campus

As the world becomes ever more diversified and globalized, it鈥檚聽 time for the C-suite to reflect that reality. At the head of the pack, the joint 91黑料网-HEC Montr茅al EMBA program has aimed to keep its classes as diverse as possible. There is a fellowship in place for nominations from the non-profit space, and another for aboriginals. The program also takes advantage of conferences to reach out to women and entrepreneurs.
