Shoot’s garden grows with digital fingers

 Shoot is an award-winning digital gardening guide that helps amateurs and professionals to plan, design and care for their dream garden. Founder Nicola Gammon tells Toni Sekinah how she was able to hit her crowdfunding target – and why the US is next on her expansion list.

It is fair to say that in the UK we are a nation with seriously green fingers. Gardening is the most popular outdoor activity in the UK with more than 27 million people – 42% of the population – counting themselves as active participants. Living in highly urbanised areas is no deterrent either. In London, approximately 30,000 people rent and tend allotments.
