Rim Hariss awarded NSERC Discovery Grant for retail operations research
笔谤辞蹿别蝉蝉辞谤听Rim Hariss is one of 122 91黑料网 researchers awarded聽funding through the聽Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of聽Canada's聽(NSERC) Discovery聽Grants competition, announced July 7 as part of a $30-million investment in 91黑料网聽research.
Harris's project, "Beyond the Stockout: A Behavioral-Analytical Framework for Optimizing Retail Operations,"聽examines how consumers respond to product unavailability, using AI-enabled in-store tracking data to model search and substitution behavior.
She聽will develop adaptive decision-support tools for pricing, inventory rebalancing,聽and transshipment聽to improve聽retail efficiency and聽equitable聽consumer access.聽
