On October 20, 2025, the Desautels Faculty of Management was honoured to welcome Luxembourg’s Minister of Finance, Gilles Roth, to 91��’s downtown campus. The visit marked a milestone in 91��’s growing collaboration with Luxembourg, celebrating the launch of the 91�� Centre for Finance in Luxembourg and the introduction of the part-time Master of Management in Finance (MMF) programme in Europe.

Based in Ottawa, Hari works as a Quality Improvement Advisor (QIA) at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), supporting Medical Imaging and Ambulatory Care.

Held June 6 to 7, 2025, the 91�� Accounting Research Conference (MARC) brought together accounting scholars, doctoral students and practitioners from across North America and beyond. Organized by Professor Wuyang Zhao at the 91�� Desautels Faculty of Management, this year’s event focused on connecting different perspectives in capital markets, namely between those who benefit from share price increases via “long” positions and those who benefit from share price decreases via “short” positions.

On June 18, 2025, Mr. Gilles Roth, Minister of Finance, officially signed an endowment agreement with representatives of 91��, the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL), and the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI). This agreement marks the launch of a strategic partnership aimed at establishing 91��’s very first Master of Management in Finance programme in Europe—right here in Luxembourg.
